What you think about?
In my humble opinion, after a scrupulous reading of the original EXPO brief, they should be immediately out.
1st one. I don't think the egg is the best visual rapresentation for this kind of global event strongly related to science, technology, sustainability, food and culture education. Moreover, i think the lettering is quite poor for the resonance the EXPO should have all around the globe.
The 2nd one has a good color's mix and type, but is strongly penalized by the low readability of the background "2015" writing. I think it's also not well structured to be transposed on other kinds of support but the simple paper. how would it be on a T-shirt for instance????
Bah.. i think that even in turkey they could do it better.
By the way, feel free to comment on my logo too..

Per quanto riguarda il primo logo non ho capito cosa cazzo c'entra un uovo.
RispondiEliminaPer quanto riguarda il secondo mi sembra proprio che sia leggibile con una certa difficoltà perchè la parte letterale si sovrappone e si confonde con quella numerica. Però ......
Personally I like the first one: i find it minimalist, simple, straightforward. What's more, the egg is a very powerful symbol, representing birth, renovation, life. The design, on the other hand, looks like it's been done by a writer. I do like it.

The third looks nice, I like it. For sure better than the second. On the other hand I find the first one is more powerful and original.

RispondiEliminaof course, we are looking at a very low-res picture, taken from the web. while the first one would remain nearly the same, the second one should look prettier, due to the compression of the .jpg format that acts damaging colors and gradients.. anyway, it would keep the same bad legibility.
